Water in your crawl space? It is our basic theory to address and divert the source of the water, rather than manage the water problem after it has occurred. The sources of water can be from a number of features of the building and surrounding yards. Often the grading of the yard tends to train water toward the structure with no easy path for the water to leave the property without ponding. The water may eventually enter the crawl space. Poorly controlled roof water also is a large contributing feature that causes wet crawl spaces. Natural occurring water that exists in the earth is also a source that is always in need of scrutiny. Allied Waterproofing provides systems that control all of the likely sources of water in the crawl space by collecting it and conveying it around the building and not allowing it to pond in the critical areas. Roof water is collected in underground pipes and conveyed to the public storm water systems. We also install foundation footing drains around the perimeter of the building to capture other water that may enter the area. At the completion of the job, the Allied Waterproofing crews will restore the property to its original condition. Allied Waterproofing warrantees their systems for a period of 5 to 20 years from the completion of the project, depending on the scope and design of the installation. If any malfunction occurs with the system, Allied Waterproofing will return and repair the problem, free of charge to our client. |
